Common Application Editing Services for Alexia Academic Consulting What It Includes: • Unlimited editing for the Common Application activities list, main essay, and all supplemental essays for unlimited schools • Resume review and enhancement • Two hours of college admissions interview coaching How It Works: Pre-Session Preparation: Before the first session, clients receive our comprehensive Common App information packet to complete. Common Application Meeting 1 (1-2 hours): This informal Zoom meeting is designed to feel like a relaxed conversation, allowing students to comfortably share their true selves with us. This initial session focuses on getting to know the student and assessing which Main Essay prompt will best highlight their individual strengths, making them stand out in the college admissions process. Together, we create a complete outline, sentence by sentence, to guide the student in articulating their unique story. During this meeting, students also receive feedback on their activities list and resume. Once the student has crafted their essay outline, they can submit their essay for editing. Completed essays will be returned within a 1-week turnaround time. Following this, students will email their list of colleges they plan to apply to and schedule their second Common Application meeting. before the first meeting, students will receive their activities list fully edited and ready to input on the common application. Common Application Meeting 2: In this Zoom session, we collaborate with clients to develop outlines for their supplemental essays, helping them begin the writing process and present themselves distinctively to each school. After completing this outline, students can submit their supplemental essays for editing, which will also be returned within a 1-week turnaround time.
