Description

In The 12 Week Summer Reading and Writing Course, students learn key skills to succeed with their reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. The video lectures and course materials include a review of basic grammar terminology and understanding, writing effective sentences and paragraphs, reading strategies, and thesis statements. Students will also be required to read 4 books throughout the summer and engage in weekly book club discussions to demonstrate their understanding of the text. This program is designed to tailor its instruction to the needs and learning pace of every student at various reading levels.
